COVID-19 Statement
Portland Psychological Assessments, LLC, is currently open for business. We will update our website if any disturbances in services must occur due to government recommendations concerning COVID-19. As of April 3rd, 2023, face coverings are no longer required, though continue to be optional. If you have concerns about our face mask or COVID-19 policy, please contact our office to discuss your concerns. Additionally, should you experience any sickness (i.e., COVID-19, flu, etc.) within 48 hours of your appointment, please notify the office as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment to the next possible date.
Evaluation Services
Psychodiagnostic evaluations provide a valuable service for those struggling with mental health conditions. Evaluations help to bring clarification to mental health symptoms, understanding the future implications of a psychological diagnosis, and targeted recommendations for treatment interventions.
Neurodevelopmental
Assessment of early childhood developmental disorders, such as autism spectrum and intellectual developmental disorder. Autism spectrum testing is available for individuals aged 31 months to 18 years old.
Neuropsychological
Assessment of cognitive and psychological functioning as indicated by a change or presence of unexpected daily behaviors and activities, such as problems with concentration.
Cognitive & Learning
Assessment of cognitive abilities and academic performance, such as a specific learning disorder.
Cognitive & Adaptive
Assessment of cognitive and adaptive functioning to determine current level of functioning.
Gifted
Assessment of various domains of cognitive abilities, which includes IQ testing.
Psychological
Assessment of emotional, behavioral, personality, and overall mental health functioning.
We accept most major insurances
Our current list of accepted insurances include: Cigna, Optum/United Healthcare, Aetna, Providence, Regence BCBS, Kaiser, Humana, and MODA.
We are constantly expanding our list of in-network insurances. Please contact us for more information about your insurance coverage.
For individuals who do not have insurance or for insurance policies that identify our providers as out-of-network, our out-of-pocket fee for most evaluations is $2000. Upon completion of an evaluation, clients may request a superbill for all necessary information to directly submit to their insurance carrier for fee reimbursement.
